Congratulations to our three Guildford Borough Councillors, Howard Smith (Westborough), Amanda Creese (Bellfields & Slyfiled) and James Walsh (Bellfields & Slyfield). This represents our best result sfor some years and with Amanda and Howard we welcome two new councillors.

Other highlights from the election saw Guildford Labour established as the clear second party to the LibDems in Stoke and Stoughton South. Never again will we let them say vote LibDem to keep out the Tories! We also had good performances from a number of new, young candidates which is all good news for the future.

We can all now take a rest of the coronation weekend!
