Guildford Labour Party’s have produced the best leaflet of the 2019 General Election, according to Isabel Hardman of the Spectator.

Writing in the publication’s Coffee House blog, Hardman is critical of many of the leaflets produced during the campaign, noting that people across the country are coming home to find Liberal Democrat circulars “littering their hallway.”

Hardman, Assistant Editor of the Spectator, admits that: “Political leaflet design is not a particularly fine art, unless you are Labour in Guildford, who… have designed the best leaflet of all.”

Angela Gunning, Borough Councillor for Stoke Ward praised the leaflet: “It looks serious and is serious. Something to read not glance at.”

That is in stark contrast to the Liberal Democrat leaflets and their infamous bar charts, which have yet again given a dishonest impression of their chances of success here in Guildford.
