Christmas cheer for Guildford Labour

Guildford Labour Party raised £300 for the Guardian and Observer Refugee appeal at their Christmas Party.

More than forty supporters attended the event, held at the Guildford Institute, which began included a challenging quiz featuring a final round of ten questions on Jeremy Corbyn! Only ten points separated the teams when the results were announced at the end of the evening.

Those in attendance were also treated to a fine musical set from Guildford Labour’s Brian Walter with his Close Harmony quartet.

Guildford Labour Party recently called on Guildford Borough Council to welcome two refugee families each month and will continue to collect appropriate clothing to donate to local charity Guildford: People to People into 2016.
