2015 Election Hustings

IMG_3490_2.jpgOur parliamentary candidate, Richard Wilson, has accepted all of the invitations he has received to public hustings events. Here is the list of public debates taking place between candidates to be Guildford's next MP:

19 February: For students and University of Surrey staff, hustings organised by the Politics Society.

9 March: Hustings organised by the Institution of Civil Engineers at G Live. Book your place here. Not many parliamentary candidates or MPs have engineering degrees. Richard has a degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and worked as an engineer for about 5 years before becoming an airline pilot.

13 April: Amnesty International hustings - 7.30pm at St Nicholas's Church Hall, Bury Street GU2 4AW

21 April: Hustings in Guildford - 7.30pm at The Millmead Centre (Guildford Baptist Church).

23 April: Two hustings in Cranleigh. In the afternoon there will be a hustings at Cranleigh School for sixth-formers. Later, at 7.30pm a public hustings will take place at Cranleigh Baptist Church organised by Churches Together in Cranleigh and chaired by Martin Reader, headteacher of Cranleigh School.
